      End of last month they announced a login would be required even to just view old dot reddit. At the moment it seems like they might be A/B Testing it. A handful of people are still reporting that old dot works, but myself and many others can no longer access it - being redirected to a login prompt.

      “Oh well,” I say. I won’t be creating an account.

      (Supposedly the RSS is still accessible. You might look into that. I’m considering scripting up something I can throw a URL into that gets the useful info out - for the occasions when Reddit is a top result for a tech question or the like.)

      Perhaps a browser refresh?, I just tried it on a different machine with waterfox and just old reddit redirect and it went to old reddit no login needed.

      The matter is pointless anyway if reddit wants to die let them.
