      Agreed. I ran all the debloat scripts I could on Windows 11. Still felt scummy using it, so I switched fulltime to Fedora Linux and I feel a lot better using my computer.

    Does there really need to be an article about this? I mean it should be a no brainer. Not that it changes much, it’s still Windows 11 at the end of the day.

      I did the same with both 10 and 7. Turned off aero transparency etc all of it I could find so windows would allocate enough resources for what I needed

      Key word being should. I haven’t looked into these options yet, but there’s a reason Microslot has a reputation for hiding setting

    First things I disabled when my company put that mandatory W11 installation on my desk. Being fair to our IT, they already went out of their way to disenshittify Windows. Their background debloat scripts and configs must be gigantic.

    I like the animations personally, but I’ve never really found a good use for virtual desktops beyond troubleshooting when something is stuck in fullscreen.
