    You know what I hate? That we don’t mock the fact that DOGE was named after a fucking dog meme and a meme coin.

    That is literally the origin of the name of that de facto now apparently defunct “governmental institution”.

      Elon’s emotional maturity stopped developing as a teen. It’s why stupid memes are the height of comedy for him, and also why he doesn’t give a fuck about people dying based on his decisions.

      I wish the news orgs would have used the pronunciation of the letters based on what they ostensibly stood for, rather than the meme.

      Just seems like calling them “Doggy” every time would have changed how much leeway people gave them.
