This will pop up everywhere.

Interesting read, thanks for sharing!

This is great! We need more enshittification on X!

I remember being excited about android updates. Now I just want Linux on phones to be usable
Better buy a lapdock. Every time you upgrade your phone, you get a new laptop for “free” and it will have the same features as the Googlebook.
I imagine their marketing agency going like:
The title “This robot is inspired by chickens” wasn’t good for SEO, so we changed to something related to Star Wars because of May the 4th. Now we are taking in clicks like crazy.

You voiced your opinion, which adds original, human made content and promotes social interaction on the platform. The fact that someone downvoted you really grinds my gears. Downvoting buries content, it makes it irrelevant and undervalued.
Lurkers too lazy to post a comment and instead using “downvote” as a “disagree” button should stop doing that and actually compensate for the bandwidth they consume on the platform with their comment, whatever it is, as long as it is respectful and constructive.
Also: I like liquid glass but I think it should be more moderately used. I think sometimes where it is overused it can be bad for legibility and usability.

What for? So devs on Windows can test code / models before they ship it to a GPU farm?
The actual farms run on Linux, right?

I just can’t get enough of the side scrolling beat em ups.
And more, they are so good.
Modern beat em ups worthy of my praise:

Good for preservation, that alone is golden.
But personally, I don’t like to play old 3D games anymore, I stopped enjoying their aged mechanics and graphics. However, retro 2D games… I freaking love them, I could play Sunset Riders until the day I die.

How does it compare to MediaWiki ?
What would (hypothetically speaking) stop Wikipedia from switching to ibis ?
I mean, I have to try ibis, but it looks freaking great, and the federation features would come in handy to distribute the burdens of hosting.

Yes, you can point to a game manually.

I have one of those controllers that dock to the phone. Mine is more portable than a normal gamepad.
Also, if you have a phone with video out, you essentially have a portable steam machine.
Compatibility is in early stages but some games run exceptionally well.
I don’t have Slay the Spire, so I couldn’t tell. You might want to check their Discord to know more.

Wait… an improvement over Lineage ? That alone makes it worth existing in the first place.
At first I thought, Graphene OS without it’s features… Why? But what you say sounds like it actually makes sense.
Welcome aboard Ranger !
Don’t ever forget why you left. If you don’t like something, be part of the solution.
Hope you have a great time here!

This is my favorite combo. Best apps for general use. Interstellar is better for image posts since it’s the only Lemmy app that supports masonry layout.

It also has a web app for desktop.
Personally, I’ve always been a big fan of Sync for Reddit / Lemmy, and Thunder for Lemmy is the closest thing I’ve seen yet, so that’s my daily driver on Android. On desktop I use Alexandrite.
Well thought out. But if you’re open to advice, don’t spend any more money on Microsoft’s ecosystem.
