Honestly this is great though. The GOP should be bombarded with this fact for the entire primary, make sure Haley supporters never want to hold their nose in the general.
Of all sad words of tongue and pen the saddest are these: Hillary was right again.
It’s not that Americans are stupid. Any nation can fall into the same trap if we devolve control of our infrastructure to plutocrats who look down on the public.
It’s the attitude that Americans are dumb and deserve our fate that’s shared by the elite who make it their business to fuck over the most vulnerable of us.
The story here isn’t that Trump doesn’t understand magnets, it’s that he was transparently told to say something by a donor associated with John Deere and he fucked it up because he didn’t understand it.

Bro literally did the bare minimum to hold a colleague accountable for embezzlement. The reason why we haven’t used expulsion for this before is that most other times someone is caught with so much overwhelming evidence against them and a unanimous bipartisan ethics committee determination, their party distances themselves from the appearance of corruption by calling on them to resign.
Rather than credit people who did the bare minimum in their duties to stand up against blatant corruption, maybe we should be instead looking at the Republicans and Democrats who voted Nay, Present, or Not Voting and asking them why they think this kind of corruption is okay.
When my loved ones and I are being marched to the gas chamber I know I’ll be thinking about whether or not we were charitable enough to the man ordering our execution back when he could have been stopped.
