I don’t know what I have to do to get a game listed on GOG though. I don’t buy a lot of games but I think the last three I tried to buy were all unavailable on GOG. There’s that page where you can wish for a game on GOG but I’ve no idea how effective that is.

If there’s this baked in idea that when they make an online only game it’s eventually going to have to have server software open sourced or disable online checks, they’ll soon adapt.

They’ve been under pressure in the EU to tackle fake reviews. Might be something to do with that.
My mother-in-law’s parents really wanted a boy and they were going to call him Nicholas. When she was born her mother wouldn’t look at her and didn’t want to name her, so a nurse suggested Nicola as she’s a girl, and the mother just shrugged and said okay.
She uses her middle name as her first name now. She did actually make up with her mother while her mother was on her deathbed, it was all frantic and wills were rewritten and all sorts.
No point getting upset about this, it’s inevitable. So many FOSS programmers work thanklessly for hours and now there’s some tool to take loads of that work away, of course they’re going to use it. I know loads of people complain about it but used responsibly it can take care of so much of the mundane work. I used to spend 10% of my time writing code then 90% debugging it. If I do that 10% then give it to Claude to go over I find it just works.
Why are these companies wanting to pay to infuriate me? If I want to watch something and I’m suddenly interrupted by a 90 second unskippable intrusion I’m not going to have a positive relationship with your company.
If companies want to use this stuff they should have to clearly label it, like how restaurants have to clearly show their hygiene ratings. You shouldn’t have to google everything

I kinda get it though. I think every single time in my life I’ve sent a document in the non-Microsoft format I’ve got a reply saying they couldn’t open it. That’s from LibreOffice and from Mac.
There’s these sort of crystal things you can use instead of deodorant. You rub them on your pits when they wet and they don’t produce any smell but block the bad ones. I used one for a while, it was good.
I’d wait to point blame over this, we have no idea what happened. The Iranians were murdering thousands of their own civilians just a few weeks ago, they’re hardly a reliable source of information. They’re obviously going to inflate the numbers and craft a story to whatever helps the regime.
They could probably never actually do this. It seems that a trained model is some big mysterious thing that nobody really understands. They take some maths that’s so complicated barely anyone can understand it, feed it all the data they can possibly lay their hands on, then pump insane amounts of computational power through it. It’s the modern day equivalent of Frankenstein’s monster.

Even if any of these ships get built then the Democrats will inevitably win the next election and they’ll be renamed after a more universally admirable President and the Republicans won’t bother changing them back next time they win. Trump can’t love too much longer given his age and the MAGA movement will die with him since nobody else has been able to attract the same kind of attention.
