The new Outlook (essentially Outlook on the web wrapped in an app framework) is very good indeed. I use it to aggregate my works 365 calendar with my multiple Google and Apple accounts.
Get his head kicked.

With SpaceX being a proven and reliable US based crewed launch provider, why do they use Soyuz at all?
Scrolled way to far to find my absolute favourite drink. +1
considering hopping onto a different instance because of this. Lemmy.world in particular always seems to be experiencing issues.
My choice of app is entirely based on what the contact uses.
Most of my family are on iOS so we use native iMessage and FaceTime.
I have a small group of friends that almost exclusively use discord.
Older non-iOS friends tend to use WhatsApp, younger ones Telegram.
Feel free to insert the equally stupidly large number of iPhone users for your particular geographic location.
I genuinely couldn’t get on with it for some reason.
On mobile I think it’s hard to beat Memmy.
It’s the desktop experience that I think is lacking.
I’m not trying to replicate the look of Reddit. In fact I think that was shittier on desktop and used it exclusively on my phone.
Alexandrite.app looks interesting though. Thanks.
I saw this, and it’s a decent paint job on the existing UI but I can help thinking how much I would like a dedicated client on windows.
I wasn’t necessarily looking for a Reddit clone. I am being spoiled by Memmy and want the same kind of customisable control on my PC.
So you’re saying WhatsApp isn’t fucking horrible to use on Android?
Until cross platform messaging is a good as iMessage and FaceTime from an iPhones user’s perspective it’s going to be bad.
I have only ever used an iPhone (ignore non-smart phones) and have been weaned entirely on Apples stock apps. Conversely almost everyone I communicate regularly with is also an iPhone users. I do use other platform for communicating with non-apple friends but the experience is significantly poorer.
I couldn’t say how many people existed within this almost exclusively Apple ecosystem but I would hazard a guess that there are a few.
19.7 million UK iPhone users will care about this.
Agreed, but it’s too easy to come after plebs like me and my eating habits when comparably private air flight is responsible for orders of magnitude more co2.
Me turning down my heating or eating less bacon is not going to have the kind of impact that big corporations, government, and super wealthy could have if they curbed their destructive habits.
I’ll go completely meat free when the super rich go private jet free.
Then there is nothing to fear.
I use iOS 17DB3 as a daily driver. I don’t know how different the public beta build is to the developer build but I can report, apart from some widgets not displaying data, it has been very reliable so far.
I have never experienced any of this. Sounds like a skill issue.
