I assume the best intentions of people that haven’t repeatedly proven that they do not have the best of intentions. Telsa has repeatedly shown that they are willing to break the law to accomplish something they want and this isn’t a huge step farther all things considered.

But not everyone has bent the knee to him. I know at least one lawfirm is taking him to court if not out of morality they are at least smart enough to know that it looks good to go against the executive when it brakes the law.

Looked it up and I had no idea how bad second hand vapor can be. I don’t vape or smoke but I’ll give them both the same level of stink eye going forward.

I have asthma and when I walk past a smoker it makes it harder for me to breathe for a while afterwards. I don’t have the same issue with vapes though so I don’t really care about those even inside of they smell nice.

It would be nice to have the equivalent of a super like that’s not tied to anything. Maybe a once a day thing. Could be easily misused by people like me with a shot load of alts though so maybe it doesn’t federate?

The things that directly affect me are all things that one side is against. One side wants to remove my ability to be myself get mental health care etc.

I don’t love the other side but it’s the only one that will allow me time to get to a point where I can be useful in getting my ideas to people.

How long have you had it? it took my current keyboard 3ish months to be as good as gboard which I had been using for years.

I don’t think most people realize how much they rely on auto correct when they are on a phone. When I switched to a new keyboard because I like local hosting my voice recognition the auto correct was initially way worse and my typing speed went down by maybe half.

I was pretty much only seeing people from my instance in comments. Or people that they followed. Joind an explicitly leftist instance because it had more charecterst to play with and it felt empty.

Oh holy shit is that when I tried mastodon it felt like a ghost town with people only posting and no one engaging in discussions?

I’m going to push back because as society exists now there are a lot of cities I have been to where the graveyard is the most easily accessible green space. I don’t know how weird it may be but sitting with the dead in the quite separated from the surroundings was one of my favorite things to experience. I’m not a religious/spiritual person and it was very helpful in connecting to the people who died before I met them.
