Closer to forums than IG. Anything old school deserves to not be bundled in with the rest of “social media”, so in that regard I get it. We still have handles though.

I thought you were talking about Ukraine’s head of UAV forces for a second lol
Why are you using quotations marks? On a serious note, Google’s bloat isn’t inherent to android, their stuff is added on top as apps and services.
It’s just one relatively shit outlet, not an entire country’s “media”. Go ahead and try looking up their staff, bc their website and (small) twitter page are just your average aggregator with no “about us” page in sight. FFS their telegram page, which is most likely the most used network in Ukraine has 13 subs. It’s not a good source.
A social media influence campaign doesn’t even have to be physically based within the country running it
So much this. If anyone is morbidly curious, look into where kiwifarms were hosted and who it was aimed at. In short: on the other side of the world from their target audience.
A desperate/unchecked hosting service and not a lot of money would give you a good launchpad. We live in outsourcing times, you probably don’t even need to put in all that much effort yourself.
Not really, there are some good examples of underdogs winning (without cruise missiles for example).
edit: and we’re not talking strictly conventional. also that’s not what “no downsides” means
What happens if one country invades the other which doesn’t posses the tech necessary to kill the leader? eg cruise missiles, bunker busters, or modern aviation in general
“Leaders can have a little assassination, as a treat”
Not too often, just enough to remind them of their humanity.
If a country’s government starts a war, the most likely result would be that political leader getting merc’d by the government of the country they attacked.
Depends on who’s stronger. I don’t think it’s gonna lead to stability every time, unless the leaders realize it’s better (read: profitable) to be at peace.
They don’t care either. The majority, that is, there are some good apples who left the bunch
It works though, that’s why they keep doing it. It’s slow as hell and inhumane, but they can afford it for many more years I’d wager. Their capabilities of data gathering/transmission are much better these days as well. Also don’t forget they set up wired drone production (in serious numbers at least) first, they can be smart at times.
Underestimating them irl is pointless.
As long as nobody was harmed they could blow up a hundred rockets for all I care. Maybe it’ll even help with competition, like make other companies switch launch vehicles, so it might be a good thing (just not for them) lol
It’s not exclusive to any one group. The main problem here is they’re engaging (allegedly) in good faith - using a lot of publicity from widely known people, posting updates, showing their heading etc. Meanwhile their opponent does not give a shit about acting in good faith.
Kinda like trying to talk sense into someone who’s only interested in beating you up and will never change their mind about it.
For some reason they either refuse to accept the fact that they won’t be treated fairly, so they keep trying to do stuff by the book (doesn’t work against liars). Or maybe they were just trying to get some publicity, and in turn inspire more attempts. Idk, I’m not them.
I am pretty sure they expected it to go south. But hey, at least they can say they tried. Perhaps that was the goal - to try.
Should be kept that way imo. The risk of telling him is not worth it
Are they? They stopped letting the americans tour their nuke facilities a while ago, basically nullifying that part of the agreement. What’s stopping them from doing the same again?
1100 kg of explosives apparently, but yeah wish it was more spectacular
Eventually you’ll pee red, that’s your bladder lining saying bye-bye
I use it because it’s free and tolerable when modded (on pc at least), and a lot of my favorite artists drop there. I get to check new releases, and if something isn’t there I’ll check other platforms. I will never pay for spotify on principle though.
This has to be a joke, they couldn’t even get the year correctly and it’s been drilled into them. Right???
edit: nvm, likely a puppet, checked the account
Exactly, that’s how it works in my country. I think the PCs are connected to a local server that then matches the results to your id and email.
There’s also a bunch of addons that do the same, if you can’t have ubo for some reason
