This seems like it’s best for people for still have a ton of Atari 2600 games or are willing to buy them. BecauseTV resolutions weren’t standardized yet, playing original cartridges on unmodified original hardware on an HDTV can result in games flickering out due to needing to change the resolution to avoid lag or even games not displaying at all
If you installed it through Fdroid and you aren’t using Newpipe’sown repository, you’re probably using an outdated version
Those weren’t designed to be addicting the way platforms like TikTok are
With capacitative buttons and on-screen buttons, there are times where I hit them on accident, which is annoying. The little bit of extra force you need for physical buttons makes this much less likely. I also don’t like when on-screen buttons are hidden, and I am worried that I would trigger gestures on accident.
I want a cell phone with a headphone jack, physical navigation buttons, and a rectangular screen like they used to make. At this point, I’ll have to go with a flip phone if I want all of those features.

I’m surprised banks haven’t stepped in. They wouldn’t help for the good of the world, but this would destroy online commerce and banking.

I disagree on the last point, sure, the supply won’t go up, but the demand is likely to go down. Prices have ballooned hard in the past several years. The bubble has to burst at some point
