The left, known for picking apart their candidates and platforms and fucking themselves by letting perfect the enemy of good repeatedly being called out as “cult-like”.

I’m voting for Harris. But lemme tell you, I’ve got issues with her. Especially her history as “pro cop”.

The thing is, many people on the left vote for “harm reduction”. We know there’s better candidates out there, but we’re stuck with what we’ve got in the FPTP voting we have.

Objectively, voting for Harris will cause the least harm in this election.

Especially if our alternative is a ratfucking tyrant that wants to be a “dictator”, wants to “ban protests”, revoke the broadcast licenses of media outlets critical of him & his party, would authorize Israel to wipe out Gaza with our direct support of our troops, would consolidate wealth to the top, and is openly working with the deranged likes of a man that dreams of making his workers indentured servants and would push the USA to reflect apartheid South Africa to relive the glory his father did.

I don’t see people on the left holding onto what was and getting stuck on reverting to times of old. Preventing the forward march of changing times.

Madison Square Garden is a private event venue. They can accept or deny anybody they like. Their acceptance, or rejection, of a political candidate will also have nothing-to-fucking-do with “democracy” or free speech.

Have you seen the scammers on other social media platforms? MLM schemes, love scams, charging a fuck-to of money to teach people how to write entry letters to casino sweepstakes for “free” online casino coins.

I can only imagine what a place that starts with gathering together people that view life as a zero-sum game develops for scamming and ripping people off.

One rule Reddit Politics had that I loved was the “No Concern Trolling” rule.

And for the record.

I believe in the idea of third parties. I will vote for serious third party candidates that have done the real work of getting out there and recognized for their platform and constituents in down ballot elections (as long as those platforms align with me). However, I am not going to vote for any current third party in a presidential election since barely any of them have done the down ballot work to make them even possible from being serious presidential candidates. So I will vote for harm reduction, because my life & lifestyle doesn’t have the benefit of surviving another Trump presidency.

Lastly.

Not everything is about you. Somehow you made this post that was unrelated to you or third parties about you and your third party interests. I hope you can see how that could annoy people in this community and make you come off as disengenous with ulterior motives at worst or unstable and self-absorbed at best.
