Same but I went with Tidal. Mostly just because I don’t want to deal with organizing a music library. I used to have a huge library from ripped CDs until a family member installed iTunes on my computer and it destroyed it all by reorganizing everything wrong.

I switched to Fedora years ago. Linux mint has been not as good for a long time.

If I remove a snap and install a deb package, I should not have to do multiple workarounds to stop it from being replaced with the snap package automatically. The firefox snap doesn’t work with a bunch of shit at all.

Working at a phone retail place, I have never seen malware not from the Play store. There is fuckloads of malware on the Play store. Most of it faking Google’s own apps which you’d think they would care about, but they don’t. All of that walks straight through play protect and in some cases on Samsung phones will abuse their security features to not let you remove it easily.

Fake apps that replace your home screen, display ads every 5 seconds, and close any app that you’re in are rampant on the Play store and play protect will do nothing about it.

I’ve had green screens show up on Bazzite while restarting or if steam crashes(rare). All amd system as well.

Pin media player is the setting name to search for.

Settings -> Sound and vibration -> Media -> Pin media player

Maybe theres a way to fix it but it just sucks ass so I turned it off.

Holy shit toshiba hard drives are fucking awful, and floppies are still not hard to read today.

I swear it’s half the reason people are mad at Synology. There is no way to buy a “Synology” drive without the chance of getting a Toshiba drive, just return and reorder until you get decent drives.

I can fully encrypt my PC/BIOS password/secureboot if I have Linux on it. If I relock my bootloader with Android then I’m completely fucked if anything goes sideways.
