Not at all saying we shouldn’t look into the abuse, but unless the victim tells someone, there’s no way to know it’s happening? I don’t really get what you’re suggesting here.

Often times the people this would hurt most would be the spouses of abusive individuals. They could force the receipt, and would be able to confirm their victim voted the way they were told.

I agree in part. But most of these people are as gullible as they are BECAUSE of religion. They’re taught from birth to follow unquestioningly, and to trust their feelings over evidence. (I know, I was one) Without religion, then indoctrinating children wouldn’t be as easy or widespread.

They’re afraid because people keep going to them and shooting kids indiscriminately. They have to do active shooter drills because it’s such a common occurrence. They don’t need convincing, it’s obvious

For real, avoiding those areas they mentioned only does two things

1. Shows that they fear getting shot or stabbed in those areas, which is directly counter to their attestation.

2. Indicates they’re probably super racist, because how do you tell what is or isn’t a “gang area”?

Kids here are afraid to go to school (for good reason), and people like this refuse to consider ANY worthwhile fixes.

I keep seeing this, and I don’t disagree, but what exactly is gonna change? Some rich people get slightly less rich, they’ll still own most of our government. Our current admin clearly doesn’t care about public opinion.
