Pay a visit to the front page or whatever they call it now and be greeted by nothing but ragebait, hornybait, gender war content, political discussion with zero critical or individual thinking, and 500 popular communities that are completely undifferentiated because they form a singular bland monoculture circle jerk that just repackages the day’s hot topic in whatever shoehorned way it can into every subreddit (Lemmy is starting to do this too though yay…). It’s always fascinating to me to think that the popes most likely do not believe that anything in their religion is actually true, and are only playing along with it because they either want the power associated, or in the case of this one seemingly, think that it’s an effective way of wrangling the opinions of the idiot masses. They think that the AI is smart enough to deduce from the pixels around it what the original face must have looked like, even though there’s actually no reason why there should be a strict causal relationship between those things.

They’re basically all equally good, but some are less confirmed to give your data to the government (probably they all do that too, which is why they were recommending you not use any of them.)

No video call or screen share either from what I can tell, which is uhhh pretty major to day the least. That said, it’s not like I need only use one platform at a time. Yeah I think about this with drone swarms a lot. One asshole with even a moderately sophisticated video-game like interface to control a fleet of drones.
