Technically, yes, iPhone users can set up custom icons, but it’s a faf and a half to set up, because you have to use the app Shortcuts and I believe it only works on your home screen, not in the app drawer.
If you have to use reddit on your iphone, use Narwhal instead of the privacy-data hungry official crapp.

When I was still on android, I loved Minuum as my daily driver keyboard. It took some getting used to, but it supported multiple languages at the same time and its word recognition was beyond anything I’ve ever seen. But I don’t know if it still works.
