

Generally, blockchain is really only helpful in very specific scenarios
- where there is no trust amongst actors (there is trust in dns, I trust you to tell me the details for your DNS records)
- immutability is important (dns records are regularly mutated, only the current state is important)
- and performance is unimportant (performance is critically important for dns)






Depending on where you live, arrest or court records might be public - do consider though, an arrest doesn’t mean someone did it. Frequently people are arrested incorrectly or the evidence is not found sufficient in court and society says they aren’t guilty. If they are found guilty and are arrested, theoretically they have done their time to repay the moral or ethical debt.
