i have recently gotten a harsh response from lemmy about this, but i am 100% with Ms Freeman on this. i WILL NOT vote for Biden and i would sooner die than vote for Trump.

i absolutely think this is a valid response to our current situation.

remember back when biden was a senator? yes, he did that.

i told the recruiter that my student loans were serviced by Sallie Mae. he told me that, for certain, my loans would be paid by the G.I. bill. i was desperate to move out of my parents house.

it wasn’t until the day before shipping out, the day that i raised my right hand and swore an oath, that i found out he lied. i went anyway and didn’t get my loans paid.

ive seen Elton John twice. the second time, more than twenty years ago, i was able to present a rose to him on one knee during the encore.

my friends and i were in the front row and had set up a folding chair up against the stage. it was quite a leap to get up there and i immediately ran for the side of his piano. security rushed in on me rapidly but i was already on one knee reaching out with my head down, so Elton shooed them away.
