Smartest comment in the thread imo. There can be good reasons for seeking a variety of ideologically leaned sources, but even the question of who is biased is a politicized question, and it won’t necessarily have anything to do with truth.
And as you noted, they change over time. E.g. “iraq war was bad” used to be considered an extreme far left position, though now it’s closer to a bipartisan consensus. “We need to avoid regulatory uncertainty”, “we need to curb judicial activism”, “deficits are bad” used to be right wing positions.

I think that credits them with a little bit too much conscious attention. I think they were surprised to even win and kind of bumbled through and were able to retrospect with the look back at that experience and think about what to do once they had a second chance. So I did set up a second term, but I don’t regard that as having been part of a singular intentional plan. Like another commenter in this thread said the dog caught the car in the first term.

Pine64 is affordable but maybe too slow to be a daily driver, unless you feel confident finding your way through ultralightweight software and the command line and can do most of your problem solving that way.
For other pre-built options, there’s Starlabs and System76 but those are similarly priced to Librem and Framework.
Beyond that I might just research Windows laptops that are agreeable to being formatted.

Also it’s funny you mention the Daily Show here, because I did watch that episode. That clip said (1) Biden said he wouldn’t pardon originally, (2) in the news cycle context of Trump nominees, Dems could have lost moral high ground on law and order and (3) made fun of the 11 years timeline. It didn’t recount any specifics on crimes, real or imagined, extensive or otherwise.
I think it’s to neutralize arguments that this is specifically precedent setting. It’s actually working within the margins of established precedent, which is the opposite of what everyone is saying, and it’s why Trump is relevant here.
