Next up, ULTRAVIRAL.
I keep forgetting how nasty they look… I’m glad I don’t have to see these on European roads. Not yet, at least.
I understand being frustrated with the government, I understand struggling, I understand feeling like no one’s working to make life less challenging. I understand doing something crazy just to force some sort of change.
However, I don’t think this election included an option to alleviate any of those things. To me, this felt like an election where the US decided on what type of country it wants to be, for their own future and to the rest of the world.
And an AI will regurgitate what humans have said on the topic before, and so we’ve come full circle.
Phew… yeah, there won’t be any of that under Trump, that’s for sure. /s
Yeap, that always work a treat. Good thing we let that Hitler fellow annex Austria, otherwise there might’ve been trouble.
“I’m a moron and I want the world to see!”
You probably wouldn’t risk a lot by putting your money on “too young”.
Too late/too old to point out that nothing good will come from putting Trump behind the wheel, again?
I don’t think so… Even my demented mother, currently on her deathbed*, understands what a moron and potential plague Trump is.
Bernie is, in my humble opinion, one of the smartest, least selfish people, with an actual desire to do good, to go after the presidency in quite some time. So, of course that never happened.
*I’m on my way to say my final goodbyes as I write this, and so I’m a bit torn up and trying to distract my mind with a bit of Lemmy
If our king displayed behavior anywhere close to how Trump behaves, it would’ve been the end of monarchy in Norway, and indeed any other modern monarchy.
It really is outrageous.
I suppose “I’m running for president, let me go” is the new thing to say if you don’t feel like going to prison right away. /s
Ah, that’s right, Sint Maarten and that crazy runway, that’s definitely worth a visit.
A related but not very fun fact; “Sint” means angry, in Norwegian, and double A is how you write the letter Å (if you don’t have access to a keyboard with that letter) and Å is pronounced like the O in the Scandinavian name ‘Morten’, and so Sint Maarten sounds very much like “Angry Morten” to a norwegian, and a Dane.
Yet another reason to visit.
I’m that generation, too. Well, to be frank, I was 19 when Goldeneye hit the big screen, so I suppose I was already grown up? Although, considering how much I’ve changed, I guess not…
I just finished watching that show, and it is in part what made me decide it’s about time I explore the Caribbean.
I’ve been to southern Florida, and Key West, a couple of times and I suppose I’m looking for more of that feel/vibe.
Ooooh, nice! Thanks!
Thank you oh so much, this means a lot, it really does. Grenada just made it onto the list.
Thanks, everyone, for all the advice! I have to say, it’s pretty friggin’ cool to post a question like this and have so many people chime in :)
I’ll keep you in the loop on where I end up, and what I end up doing!
Lucky for him they aren’t nearly as stringent with the background checks if you want to be president of the country.
Why is he going to a McDonald’s to pretend to be working for a couple of minutes, what is that supposed to prove, or disprove? The theatre called politics in the US can be quite baffling.
The people responsible for that one are rich, and they can do no wrong.
