That’s odd. At my local pool they very definitely are in the water with us more often than not during lessons. How else can they demonstrate techniques, and watch us closely to see what we are doing wrong?
There is one exception I’ve noted - the coaches of swim teams seem to mostly stand at the front or back of the section their team is using. I’m not sure what that’s about, since I’ve never been on a team like that. But I can guess it has to do with seeing everyone at once.

Oh yeah, my family name isn’t that rare, but it’s also probably going away locally when I do. I don’t mind though, it’s an ugly name anyway. My wife didn’t take it, her’s is much nicer.

I actually took a quick look at the Android API to see if there was an obvious way to make an app to do this, and as far as I could find, there is not. It might be impossible.
Perhaps you can paste it into an image editor app and then save it as a file?
Pretty sure the media picker can only pick files on Android.
Also if the image was on screen at some point before it was on the clipboard, you could take a screenshot as a rough workaround. Those are also saved as files.
My bloodline ends with me, but I have step kids. So kinda yes, but kinda no more than a typical person whose genes do continue but their story is forgotten eventually.

Yes because as I understand it the custom domain is basically just a pointer. Everything still goes through the bsky servers and you can be deplatformed there at the whim of an admin/mod (On Mastodon if you don’t run your own instance that can still happen, but you can instance hop. If you run your own then other instances can block your instance but it’s not the whole network all at once)
