I actually like the ability for a local AI to help with this in theory. I don’t think it’s an excuse for unintuitive UIs though.

For some reason a collective of cats sounds like some sort of organized crime group that wears suits.
My cat doesn’t wear a suit, though probably partakes in organized crime. 🤔
I figure maybe towards the end of my lifetime laws will catch up to allow some form of real digital ownership. Until then: you lose it when they go out.
99/100 people will not care. I’m one of them.
For that 1/100: sure it’s infuriating but probably more than mildly.
If I ever watch one Mr. Bean YouTube video, all my suggestions become Mr. Bean. I mean he’s ok but they literally have the same video uploaded to multiple channels with slightly different names.
Give me more different Mr. Bean. Stop repeating the Bean.
I think the same about basically every new smartphone at this point. Since when have we had real innovation there?
How is signal considered part of the fediverse?
It’s one of those things that are pretty annoying. Especially because you often need to login before starting the chat. The login should have authenticated me already.
Also in case anyone wonders they didn’t reply after 20 minutes so I gave up.
Some people are hard of hearing. It annoys me but I know people who turn on speakerphone immediately since they say they can’t otherwise hear.
I’ll give a sort of recommendation to using a safety razor and cheap blades instead. However I’ve been doing it for years and still cut myself.
I yearn for a razor that can use safety razor blades and wouldn’t cut me up.
I already have these razors that use those blades already: Leaf, OneBlade, Maxwell June, and Proof razors… and yet they all cut me up about the same as my regular safety razor.
Anyways razors are kind of cool. Wonder if there is a Lemmy community for shaving.
I’m a fan of those foot things that exist in some places now to pull the door open. Though every time I use one, I fear for a moment that if someone enters the bathroom at the same time I’m leaving, I’ll fall on my face.
I would have thought the something is wrong category would catch all here.
Maybe there should be a miscategorized option or similar.
Three dots in the corner. Click to report the job, pick the category it falls into.
Believe it or not: people do eventually see reports at some level.

Makes me think that platforms banning Trump after Jan 6 were just kissing up to Biden coming in. Maybe there is just a cycle of capitalist sucking up.
You’re right, but also have been proven wrong. This is politics, and apparently the most effective version at that is lying and saying things that more people than we would think believe… and vote for.
+1.
I wish we had type c but all cables were labeled with clear functionality from the start. I don’t like data/power only cables.
I’m guessing this is a cost thing. You don’t need to pay for fact checking anymore.
… still obnoxious and pushing us towards a dead echo chamber internet. Get ready for AI personalities voting on community notes.
Even in ipfs, I don’t understand discoverability. Sort of sounds like it still needs a centralized list of metadata to content I’d, etc.
Hashed by whom? Who has the source of truth for the hashes? How would you prevent it from being poisoned? … or are you saying a non-distributed (centralized) hash store?
If centralized: you have a similar problem to IA today. If not centralized: How would you prevent poisoning? If enough distributed nodes say different things, the truth can be lost.
There used to be a scary logo animation for National Amusements that used to scare me as a child. It gives me the creeps now still.
It was all neon and then there would be a creepy screen to show you where the exits were.
