I often go with just the number of concussions I’ve had diagnosed because I also have no clue how many I’ve actually gotten (and to OP, I would absolutely not survive even if we ignore my concussions lmao)

You are 100% correct. I find it highly probable that OP is simply lying about being a nurse.
In my experience, none of the medical professionals I’ve worked with would turn to public forums to find an answer to a question like this. Even if it’s related to a different specialty/area of medicine than they usually practice.

It’s actually a provincial act, which I find even funnier because it means each province legislated the protection separately. Here’s a few of them:
Ontario - Apology Act (2009)
B.C. - Apology Act (2006)
Manitoba - The Apology Act (Bill 202)
Quebec - Article 2853.1 of the Civil Code of Québec
Alberta - section 26(1) of Bill 30 (Evidence Amendment Act (2008))

About 8-9 years ago, I had a Mazda that used the same system for pressure which was great as I swap to winter tires for basically half the year. I was so disappointed when I switched to a newer one and found out they went back to using actual sensors.
I refuse to pay for a second set of sensors so now I just have a warning light all winter, I really wish they’d stuck to the rotational speed version.

Refusing to acknowledge others opinions by just saying it’s a “you problem” when you disagree is really not conducive to a conversation by the way.

Funnily enough, I actually don’t dislike discord as a platform, I’ve even built servers that have grown to hundreds and thousands of users. I’m also well aware of the attempts discord has made at rectifying the issues I outlined. That being said, it is absolutely a walled-garden and whenever discord’s servers are taken offline, countless amounts of information will go with them. At least with forums or a lot of other platforms, people can easily archive the info, not so much with discord.

In my opinion, the biggest issue with pushing communities to Discord is that it traps the information within that platform and their search leaves a lot to be desired.
Discord is a good platform to build a community around a topic, however, more often than not, a lot of solutions to common problems become lost or hard to find for new players/users.

Not quite. There’s still enough polls left to report that could lead to a Liberal majority, even if that doesn’t happen (it’s quite unlikely), then current projections are that the NDP will have enough seats to support the minority government, even though the Bloc will hold more seats overall than the NDP.

By saying that I didn’t realize it was different in Europe. Often when we (Canada) do something different than the US, it’s because it’s closer to how it’s done in Europe and I assumed this was one of those cases.
I’m planning on looking into this more when I have some free time as I’d like to understand where our approach to both documents came from.

Maybe things are different here in Canada but that’s how I’ve always had it outlined. What you’re describing would be called a resume here and not a CV. The intents of the two documents are not the same.
Most CVs that I’ve seen are usually closer to 3-5 pages but I’ve seen some that are ~10 pages.

Not traditionally. A CV should contain essentially everything whereas the resume is tailored to the specific position.
CVs are much more common for academic positions but I’ve also seen them required for very specialized roles.

They’re definitely not the same thing even though they’ve been used interchangeably more and more.
A CV is a comprehensive overview of everything you’ve accomplished and can be fairly long in certain cases (I’ve seen CVs of specialized professionals or tenured professors that are close to 10 pages long).
On the other hand, a resume is a concise list of your relevant skills and experiences that should be tailored to the position you are applying to and should almost never be longer than 2 pages.

That’s exactly what happened for me. I used to be a mod for a bunch of subreddits (including some fairly popular ones) but I realized I just didn’t really enjoy it anymore. Which is a shame because I’ve started and maintained a lot of communities over the years but being a Reddit mod just killed that for me.

I’m one of the few that don’t work in tech but it’s arguably the hobby I spend the most time (and money) with so I’m not sure if I really count. I work in emergency management & specialized response services.

Happy to see I’m not the only one who prefers raspberry jam! Imo it’s truly the perfect pairing

I used to only use it for random change I’d get on the rare occasion I’d pay for something with cash. Nowadays it’s always filled with dog treats since my dog is nearly always with me.
I’ve been thinking of getting 1 or 2 of those Ikea air filters, how loud are they when they run? Anything you wish you’d known before getting it?

If all your devices are USB-C PD rated then you only need to have cables and wall adapters for your highest rated device as all others will only demand what they can tolerate when the handshake happens after plugging in the cable. The only exception would be devuces that don’t follow the spec but use the plug for cost saving reasons which is a completely seperate issue.

Totally agree on that point. I took it more to mean it could be fatal if someone went to refill a jar of vinegar with bleach (or vice versa) since mixing the two creates chlorine gas which can be fatal.
I generally agree but it really depends what work the vehicle is used for. In my line of work, regulations require us to have a fully separated cab from where the gear and load are kept so we’re basically forced to use pickups.
That being said, only on-call team leads bring the trucks home and we’re not allowed to use the trucks for personal use so they’re basically only at our shop/base or at a worksite.
