  • Taking on this crap analogy from Abbott, a winning team learns from their mistakes and adopts a winning strategy. That’s not what happened here. The known tried and true winning strategy was not tried let alone executed and these deaths are the lost “game” to Texas. It’s one thing to practice and then execute poorly, and another to bench or fire key players and staff before the game starts and then spin and deflect on what went wrong. The latter is what losers actually do. This is the truth that Abbott, with his lack of bravery and integrity, is failing to admit. Winners bite the bullet and make honest corrections without any spin.

This isn’t a sports game like football, Abbott. This is real life and death. Pull your head away from the game on the TV and wake up to the reality of the deaths you’re downplaying.

The lack of gubernatorial outrage at the Trump Administration is the real headline of this story. Abbot values his pride and his loyalty to the Donvict over the lives of his fellow Texans. This response shows he is a disgrace, just like Cancun Cruz and No-Respect-for-Life Noem. These barbaric people appear to lack the shame necessary to resign in their disgrace.

  • In fascism, when the numbers get too low, the criteria changes. They’ll start figuring out how to deport legal immigrants next, or whoever the next most vulnerable group is. They will openly deny it and then they’ll just do it, in standard gaslighting fashion.

We are ALL on the list. They chip away at whoever is easiest to target next. They villainize the immigrants, then the religiously different (Muslims, Jews, etc.), then the political enemies, threats or even perceived threats, even within the MAGA camp, and so forth. They just start with the lowest hanging fruit. They won’t stop until the orchard is completely stripped and burned down. There are the more safe and less safe but ultimately NO ONE is safe.

  • You’re right. Racism is a tough drug to quit. To quit, it starts with recognizing one’s own racism. Sure, some racists know and are even proud of their racism. But most racists don’t know or understand how racist they themselves actually are. They think “Well I’M not racist!” and then think voting for the racist candidate is unrelated.

I think most Donvict voters fall into two camps regarding racism: 1) They’re too naive to recognize that donOLD was/is a racist or 2) They don’t recognize their own racism. There’s a minority of them that are knowingly or blatantly racist.

  • Farmers are super stressed and are at a higher risk of suicide. Voting for the Donvict was a sure way to make farming more stressful. Not only does the wealthy brat from the big city see you as a mark to exploit, he really doesn’t actually care about you losing all your export customers and losing your farm. He’s busy golfing at taxpayers’ expense.
