When they really touch me, when they are well written or when they hide a powerfull story. Talking about homosexuality, the song “Enolay Gay” is one of them 😉.

I’m changing bank, so I request to close my former account. I sent the request in march. I’m maybe at the 5th back and forth, there are still something missing. Document, signature, account number, etc… Yesterday I had to write an explicite request by hand, sign it and send it back to the bank.

I talked to them. I was then summoned by management because it was no the right time to talk to them and that I should way end of the year PMDs to do so.

It’s not that I’m lazy, it’s that I more and more understand how recognition works. I use to be the kind of guys that did everything, doing extra hours to makes everything works smoothly. But the thing is if you do your job well, no one will notice you did anything.

Now I focus on visible things. I always over-evaluate my projects and let some easily fixable issues there and there to show how reactive I am.

Evaluate a 6 month project and deliver everything perfectly working in 7 month, you will just be yelled at for being late.

Evaluate the same project to 9 month. Deliver in 8, get feedback and fix the last issues in last month, everyone will be happy and will notice how reactive you are and how good your support is.

It’s not possible to apply this strategy in all domains, but it works for me. I always have very good appreciation from my management and regularly have bonus.

Yeah, I grew up in rural area. Not “poor”, but population revenu was below average. Hard work was valued. Why would I have to give money for people who doesn’t work ?! Those lazy bastard just have to find a job. If someone is rich, it’s because he worked very hard and deserves it.

I’ve found a couple of lib to do Facebook bot, but they all require access to admin account.

The good news is that our new public council would like to get rid of MAGAFA. I’m in contact with them, so I hope I’ll be able to setup an official solution instead of setting unofficial scrapper 😃

Same problem as you. From what I found, you need an admin account on the Facebook city account. Then, you can build a bot to cross post to mastodon, RSS, whatever.

But seems like you cannot do it with your own Facebook account.

Some friends had the ti89. It has basically the same features. The ti92/V200 screens are larger, and have a full qwerty keyboard which make them much user firendly, but as I remember, firmware were similar.

I got a V200, the successor of ti92. Best device ever, so much power in that brick. I never found something equivalent on computer, except maybe wolfram alpha.

Yep, most of tracks were already available on “various” sources, but this time they directly scraped the whole Spotify database.

It’s really nice from them to backup Spotify database on a distributed system, and for free ! This ensure Spotify business won’t be endanger in case of critical hardware failure.
