It was one of the best. Just nitpicking but R-type wasn’t a Nintendo series. R-type 3 was developed for SNES.

Home life is great. I love my kids and my partner and they’re all amazing.

but I’m currently taken out of this feeling by stress and anxiety about work. To the point that my partner is concerned about my health. it’s really not good.

NFS 1, 2, 3, Porsche Unleashed. excellent track design. The early parts of the series were the gold standard in track design for me.

Second dos game I ever played was Doom on a 486. My mum was doing a tax return for the local bowls club, and the manager let me play Doom on their computer while she was going through all the paperwork.

A couple years later we got our own Pentium 133mhz and a copy of Doom and Duke 3D.
