What kind of car is it? Do you have any better pictures of inside the wheel well, or know how it’s supposed to be attached? You might be able to take out some of the trim clips for the fender liner and pull the fender off and find that you can just slip it back into a groove or something. If you need to glue it, epoxy would work fine, or a silicone would work well too.

politics @lemmy.world•Walmart to Increase Prices ‘On a Week-to-Week Basis’ Due to Trump Tariffs: Report
8·5 months agoI work in Walmarts, and all of my stores have recently(over the last few months) rolled out the e-ink electronic price tags. I wouldn’t be surprised if the tariff drama is the reason they decided to pull the trigger to save a bunch of price-change labor.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•What programs do you wish a good FOSS alternative existed, but doesn't or most of the FOSS alternatives simply aren't good?
1·9 months agoSo far I’ve just been using the basic obd2 Bluetooth things but the apps available are very limited. I’ve been able to do some custom PIDs for some of my vehicles, and others you can often find tools that allow you to do some specific programming but it lacks a lot. I’ve been considering some of the ones you can find for around $400 from China but I’m not sure if those are anywhere near the same level as the 10k snap on ones.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What is a fun gadget you have purchased that has added value to your life?
1·2 years agoI’m almost curious what kind of life you live? You never find yourself in a situation where having a knife, screwdriver, pliers, or a flashlight on you wouldn’t be a huge convenience?

Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•Why do all the new TVs expect me to have a platform AS WIDE as the fucking thing?? Fucking shit!! God awful absolutely dumb thoughtless design choiceEnglish
21·2 years agoAre you being sarcastic? $400 for 55in TV is high end… Lower cost 55in are, on average, $240. Affordable TV for most of the world would be under $200-$250

I don’t really care about achievements. The most important thing would be a wide range of supported systems. I think I want a flip form factor and would prefer Linux, but android is fine too.
