This took 2 minutes of Googling, and I know that many bills have been proposed at the State level in many different states (including the last link, signed into law by Tim Walz), largely championed by Dems.

I’ve heard plenty of arguments from Dems for mental health care at various levels. Those things need to be funded, and who do you think keeps trying to defund government agencies and services for social/mental health issues? Usually not the Dems. The Dems have plenty of faults, including their lack of spines (in at least some cases), but the lack of funding for social services is not usually one of them.

And, Palin actually involved her daughter in things to help demonstrate how everything was okay. She put her daughter on display for her own political gain.

Yes, he’s been meeting with the leaders across the world. There’s no way they weren’t discussing the conflicts with which they are involved. I felt particularly betrayed by Volodymyr Zelenskyy meeting with Trump. If that wasn’t a sting to catch Trump in the act that was in trade for more arms and supplies, I’m angry.

The first amendment has some pretty solid limitations. Someone could argue they don’t apply here, but I don’t think that would hold. Any constitutional lawyers have a take on this?

That said, the likelihood that he’s convicted of it, sentenced, without a stay, where he sits a day in jail is sooooo slim that it’s practically two dimensional. As you said, there are barriers and interference everywhere, and he’s the king of stalling lawsuits.

I get your point, but if anyone goes over there, they’re bringing their underage children, and those children will likely suffer. So, I’d rather them stay and be safe than be right and have them suffer. I don’t wish ill on those hateful people, for the most part, I wish them a clear view of the social, political, and economic landscapes.

Now, the people who intentionally hatemonger for profit, like Alex Jones, I would not be sad if they met an untimely fate.

Sure, anything could happen. I think Taylor Swift has enough money and reach to make herself heard if she really wants, in a way that leaves no doubt. Yes, people will pick and choose, but if they’re choosing to believe Taylor Swift supports Trump, they aren’t dealing with reality anyway. Those people were going to vote for Trump no matter what because they look for every little sign of support for Trump, no matter how ludicrous it is.

Sure, but lawsuits are not her only recourse. She could actively endorse Kamala, for instance, and that would be terrible for Trump.
