Yes, I have the non x version. I think the one with x has a higher tdp. I’ll probably look into this this weekend. Hopefully, I’ll find something out that’s helpful to you.
I don’t know, could be. But I don’t want to always put the monitor cables into another port. I thought there maybe could be a software way to do this or only use the GPU for the really intense tasks.

It doesn’t delete your stuff it just doesn’t save your history and cookies as a save browser should do. For me that little inconvenience is fine because I get a big privacy benefit out of it IMO.
I personally use Librewolf. Its just a hardened version of Firefox so you don’t have to do it yourself.
PHP isn’t as bad as it uses to be.
I recently went over to fedora. Love it so far. Really stable and also newer packages than e.g. linux mint.
