Seems like this is from people who (claim to have) demonstrated how it could be done on the hardware used in the election as part of their professional careers, are showing the data suggesting something like that was done, and are reaching out to officials to get a recount, which would be able to prove something was done to alter the results. Seems like demanding recounts is what should be done, just like in 2020.

2016 anomilies were differences between exit polls and results specifically in some swing states. Different anomoly. Not saying 2016 was definitely fraudulent, but seems worth double checking if you want to pretend to be a republic/democracy.

Nothing was done based on the shady 2016 election outcomes, so I doubt anything will happen this time either.

You could do vote totals for president vs vote totals for the next highest state-wide race (or break it down to more locally) without looking at the party those votes went to. It wouldn’t prove that the huge number of bullet votes were specifically in favor of Trump, but at least would suggest some wrong-doing, even if the result of a recount lowers Harris votes.

Still, there’s surely lots of other races where one candidate is clearly awful, yet bullet ballot rates are still <1%.

It’s not like my account is that important. I have the same account on different instances so when one has technical problems, I just use the other. Just copied the settings over. Not like I need to be able to go through all my history much.

There was also the cost of running twitter. Granted, his return so far has been about 50 bil and twitter still has a market value of like 40 billion, so it’s not like that asset has gone away. Like 4 billion in net costs to make 50 billion in two years is pretty solid return on investment…

You can vote for someone against genocide for pres or just not vote for any candidate and still vote downballot.

If the downballot candidate hasn’t been actively assisting genocide and hasn’t been very publicly celebrating that, it probably helps with getting votes.

Only barely though. Its like 50.2%. But like another 48% voted for Kamala, so like that’s 98% of voters…

Spending the first like 2 months campaigning on how she doesn’t care about certain demographics’ vote (primarily arab and college-age voters, and avoiding any popular policy discussion (only focusing on ways they were shifting further right) until the week of election probably didn’t help. Trump got the majority of 1st time voters this cycle. Biden got 64%.

And, just like her campaign, her voters did little but try to insult people. What a surprise… insulting people doesn’t convince people to vote for you or your candidate.

The basic idea seems to be that it should be pretty similar to reddit, but with federation. Definitely still seems to have its own separate character though. And different instances have their own unique cultures, some more differentiated than others.

Its been sorta expected to happen eventually. Texas is only not a swing state because of things like voter suppression. There’s only 6 states with worse turnout than Texas. If Texas had the turnout of Minnesota, it might just be a blue state.
