Northwest US, same.
Northwest US, same.
It’s like, how much more black could this be? And the answer is none.
I’m 38 and can’t imagine dating a 26 year old. The woman I’m currently seeing is my same age and it’s great.
Yeah, the Firefox extension I linked works the same way. I was just thinking out loud about the other alternatives and whether that approach would be feasible, but you’re right it does have the connection requirement.
I always forget the Kindle has a basic web browser. In lieu of a sync service/native apps, I wonder if any of these alternatives would work decently enough in the Kindle web browser with Article Mode.
And for what it’s worth, I use this Firefox extension to send articles directly to my Kindle without Pocket/any service in the middle.
I use them. My screen has much more horizontal real estate than vertical.
I do too, as someone who understands what it actually is, what it’s useful for, and what its limitations are. The issue is every company shoving it down users’ throats as future AGI/something LLMs will never achieve.
SNRIs, getting older, and being much more selective about the fucks I give.
What is your BA in?
This is a great writeup on this, thanks for sharing. I’ll at least link my friends who are convinced this is happening so they won’t read it.
Who’d win in a wrestling match, Lemmy or God?
We had a guy at the place I worked a few jobs ago who did nothing but slowly single-finger peck out regexes all day. His job title was “SEO Guru”.
100%. I’m trying to swear less just to avoid the punctuation-level swearing that feels childish to me. But replacement swear words that have the same sentiment feel even more childish and pointless to me.
We even have sea unicorns, land unicorns don’t seem too far fetched.
Thanks, I use them and didn’t know this was a feature. My favorite iOS cribbage app doesn’t offer a paid tier to remove the ads, and this took care of it.
Correct. If you do it now, there’s a notice about this feature going away.
My favorite Calibre thing was when the creator was interviewed and asked about the common complaint that Calibre is ugly and he was basically like “actually it’s not.”
I’m slightly younger (born in 86) but went through a similar thought process a couple of years back. I remembered being an avid reader as a kid but could barely make it through a book or two a year, and struggled to maintain any form of attention span. I forced myself to read more for about the first month, then I got addicted to it again and ended up reading 42 books that year. I’m very conscious now about pretty much always having my devices in some form of focus mode/app time limits and prioritizing focus/reading time. I feel much better.
Bro looking at your last two posts… if you’re not trolling, you might want to get some help before you really go off the deep end. Reminds me of unsuccessfully trying to convince a friend they’re about to “invest” in a pyramid scheme.
I literally never watch shorts. I’ve selected the option to show less shorts on my computer, I select the not interested option on each individual video on my TV when the row of them shows up, and they still constantly come back.
