Seriously though, there are a ton of extremely gregarious animals out there, it wouldn’t be too surprising if some of them have some rudimentary concept of justice

Yeah I’m not saying these books are objectively uninteresting and useless and that they should be destroyed to feed some water-hungry plagiarism machine, but that is why they are not being re printed : barely anyone is buying them (despite them being rare)

Lots of them are uninteresting and useless to 99.99% of people IIRC (examples I saw in a French article a few months ago was very precise history of some random villages in Spain or something similarly ultra specific)

Mine supposedly doesn’t. Never ever enabled Google assistant or whatever it is. I probably have some apps doing it stealthily while they’re in use but at least they supposedly can’t do it while the phone’s in my pocket.

The base version, which was the only one available for a while, doesn’t.

I might buy it to play one of the few games I have that just can’t run on Linux

Never will because they’re too scared of computers to step one toe outside of the walled garden. It’s a surprisingly big part of android users, according to my personal evidence

Space experts have since pointed out that the vacuum of space does not sink heat.
I’m merely a casual Elite: Dangerous player and I could have told him that.
He’s a genius btw

Isopropyl ? Really ? I have a big bottle of it for cleaning electronics but I had never thought of using it on clothes

Mostly emitting ungodly amounts of photons and radiations, as far as the earth is concerned. Is that actually cooling it though ?

If that’s gonna be the argument I’m picking the electric motor anyway, with the shittiest ones having 75% efficiency (good ones are in the 95+ range) versus the ICE where the most efficient ones in the entire world barely reach 30%

He really went out and chose the worst possible country to do this in

Good list. Didn’t know about trailsense, I love it !

The first amazon listing I can find for the armor 34 pro has “andriod 15” on the back of the phone lmao

In the before times we barely had mobile phones to go with the digital maps. We were out there printing Mappy itineraries into a stack you’d better not lose

They’re too busy milking the boomers for now (and even then, the smart ones also despise ads already)

Forgot the phone one too. Or was it a phone “case” ?

Not sure what they’re implying about being forced to sell non refillable vapes. I bought a Centaurus kit (refillable) two years ago and they’re still selling. Though the same brand also has lines of disposables…
In reality the people buying disposables don’t want to deal with the hassle that is e-juice (and changing coils). But the modern refillables are pretty good at not leaking every time you look at them wrong, though in my experience the big ones still don’t like being upside down.

Great idea, let the exploiting class directly influence our climate, what could go wrong ? They have been so responsible with their indirect influence so far…
Are there new handhelds in that form factor ? I love my steam deck but the PSPs were quite a bit more compact. Also, having tried both (PSP and vita) for a while, they felt like they had amazing build quality but idk if that’s true. I definitely liked using them both anyway which is probably why people are keeping it alive.
I guess my main problem with them was that they were really expensive, in parts due to their gimmicky tech imo (UMD/back touch surface)
