We really do need a “don’t hand shit out that people don’t ask for” law in the world in general. It’s such a waste for everyone involved.

A trade surplus? Would that not mean that Brazil has a trade deficit with the USA? Sounds like Brazil should follow the same advice and put tariffs on them.
He literally followed it up with what was essentially “ok fine, but do something”. You’re so hooked onto this sugar thing and have completely missed the entire point.
Brother, you’re dumb as a doornail.
You asked, buddy, and I’m sorry your gotcha fell on its stupid face, I guess?
The USA was fucking crawling forward and it was complaining the entire time. It is a country constantly falling behind in so many quality of life metrics, and in a constant state of barely hanging onto what few rights people had to earn with their lives. I need you to understand that the pace at which it moves is unacceptable and to be even remotely proud of it just shows your ignorance.
The Democrats are probably going to try to run Gavin fucking Newsom instead of AOC because they don’t seem to even want to win and because they don’t want to have someone in power who will push so hard for doing the right thing. Who knows, maybe you idiots will actually rally behind her during the primary, if you even get one of those, and the country can finally start its slow game of catch-up with the rest of the developed world, but I’m not holding my breath.
Good luck.
I’m from Canada, we were one of the first to legalize it, if I recall correctly.
I need you to understand that this pathetic deflection tactic does not fool any but the most profoundly stupid. The US has an insane amount of resources to do so much good for its people and spends way too much of said resources attacking other countries and beating down its minorities and poor people. You’re failing an open book test where the professor is begging you pick the right answer and you’re still dragging your heels and screaming the whole time.
The US is a terrible place, not only for how bad it is but, for me especially, for how it could be so wonderful and actively chooses to be terrible. And then it goes around exporting that bullshit while acting like they had nothing to do with it to really round it all out. Many places are bad but the US takes it to a whole new, greasy place.
Damn, the bar really is on the floor, huh? Ya’ll’re gunna have to do a lot better than “gay people are barely allowed to marry in places where they have less of s chance of being beaten or killed for being out” and “we had abortion rights once but those were blown away and now the current admin that’s only just getting started is making sure things only get worse”.
I know them there readin’ skills ain’t top-notch in ‘Merica but maybe you would all benefit from looking to the rest of the world and understanding that the USA is pretty fucking dogshit in comparison to not only a long list of betters but even compared to a few of the countries that it considers to be backwater.
The USA sucks, big time. Horrid place full of horrid people doing horrid things under a horrid system they keep desperately trying to pretend is the only option despite all the evidence even from within their own recent past. Do better.
Bro you’re really not getting it. Hell, they agreed with you and now you’re just kinda going off on their literacy while proving that your comprehension needs work. The fuck do you want from them?
You’re weird for this; chill out.
So, uh, here’s the thing…
They have real strong “the goverment should do something about that” energy while being the government.
And yet, if Trump replaces the chair with a yes-man and no one stops him then he does control the fed and therefore the money. And it doesn’t look like anyone is stopping him from doing this kind of shit any time soon.
Fucking hell, it isn’t that complicated.
You don’t need to live the US to know about it, and actually it makes it a lot easier because you aren’t dealing with their shitty education system or the propaganda. Besides, I’m Canadian, and have to deal with that pile of garbage all the damn time.
Get outta here acting like I can’t judge the US because I’m not in it. Get right outta here.

Oddly enough, when it comes to less dense suburbs with richer people in them, the cost to the city is always more than those people pay in taxes. They pay more but they’re actually using poorer people’s taxes to pay for their shitty “neighbourhoods”, in quotes because the word implies a level of community they could only dream of.
“So many democrat presidents have acted in the same way”
One, doubt. Two, you take that entire excuse and shove it waaaay up your ass.
Looks like there are 212 Democrat reps in the house, which puts it at a large majority which would rather “not cause a fuss” or whatever the fuck excuse they’re trying to bullshit this time.
Useless people. Worthless people.
“I just wanted a light-hearted conversation talking about my horrible views towards marginalized people and you’re over there bringing the mood down!”
My best friend’s dad will just randomly bring up the weirdest and most unrelated to the conversation attacks on even centrist institutions, like a joke he thinks is funny, but you mention something connected, especially if it’s in a more serious tone, and he’ll be like “what does that have to do with anything?”
Why wait? Cops are already shooting rubber bullets at journalists during protests and doing all kinds of illegal things to them for the crime of-well there is no crime, actually, except for what’s being committed by the cops.
Hell yea, bröther.
Fuckin’ love that thing.
Recently I remember something from the Democrats where the person was complaining that most of their funding was coming from the voter base and not from rich capitalists. Like, you’re getting money but not the correct, evil money and that’s bad?
