This is why they’re pouring hundreds of billions into AI. We don’t even need AGI when you can slowly convince everyone to offload their thinking to an LLM. Then who controls the AI can use it to nudge people in whatever direction.

He will get that if he increases the company value by 800% in the next ten years. (Or so I’ve read)

Just like eating only junk food is bad for your body, so is current news bad for the mind. I suggest you seek out actually positive news channels on YouTube or smth. We live in a very shitty world but there is still so much good in it. There is free open source software out there, there is volunteer work, there are people who give time, money, energy to worthy causes, with nothing to gain. And that’s worth fighting for (Mr Frodo)!

Can someone more knowledgeable about politics than me please tell me how 1 person can just slap on tarifs willy-nilly?
Shouldn’t things like this have to go through some sort of vote in congress?
Could the US president just call up all CEOs that use steel and be like: “gonna need some donations or I’ll put some tarifs on any imported steel”?

Thank you for this.

I feel like I often have trouble finding the circumflex.

Love the puns. Keep it up ❤️

Relay is an amazing app. Very smooth. And this is a good solution for his app to survive.
But besides the fact that almost all of the money will be going to Reddit. Everything you do on the app makes calls to the API, including voting. And each vote is equal to one call, just as much getting a batch of comments for a post, or getting a batch of posts.
So the best way to keep your API calls low is to not vote on any post or comment.
Maybe the dev will optimize this somehow by maybe batching votes and sending them at a later date, but you can see how the current situation, made possible by reddit, will decrease engagement.

I suppose somebody, who didn’t like what you posted at one point, went through the trouble of down voting all your comments/posts regardless if their content.

Careful of Lumbago with that much workin’

Isn’t obsidian closed source? I see that only their core plugins are open source.

Wow, that’s crazy! They should make a movie about it!

No officer, I use it to cover the lights on electronics in my hotel room. Honest!
Without having dug too deeply into it, shouldn’t this be easy to fool by just wearing something conductive under your clothes? And for normal gait/body shape it’s easy to fool. But I guess the intent is to ID most ppl, not all ppl.
