Looking through the info they have on me, it seems entirely made up of information regarding past purchases and shipping locations. It mentioned having 2 people at my address, but said other person has an account linked to mine and with the same shipping address, so it’s all relatively shallow information. I didn’t see any deep dive “HOW DID THEY GET THAT??” stuff that would otherwise be alarming.

Edit: I should add that I don’t own or use any of their Alexa products or any related technology. Those might spy on people a little more thoroughly.

Keep in mind that the U.S. Republican party has been actively undermining their education system for decades as one of the many ways to trick voters into believing their lies. For many of the people who voted red, they were conned and manipulated their whole life into doing so. It doesn’t excuse their past actions, but those who see their own wrongs and wish to work to correct them should be given the chance to do so.

If that was the case, the entirety of the German population would have been executed following World War 2 for letting Hitler take power. It’s all about driving metrics now. If people need to click on/select a movie to see more about it then that adds numbers to page views and increases time spent in the app. They can also see who and how many do or don’t watch a movie after clicking on it to further drive their algorithms.
