There are a number of them, but they are typically more expensive. Avocadostore is German based and shows quite a few.

I understand the sentiment you are going for, but I think it is a little cheap regarding the opinion of 300 million+ people.
In my horribly narrow opinion, the American freedom is simply the freedom to choose. Nothing more, nothing less. The freedom to own a tiger, buy a tank or be “Florida man” for a day.
It is not “free” from manipulation and sometimes it really feels like a 5 year old choosing to do the opposite of the right thing just “because”.
Sidenote: I ABSOLUTELY do not think it is the best way to build a nurturing society, but I get why it has such a passionate supporter base.

Oneser@lemm.eeto Technology@lemmy.ml•Biden's new country-tier-based restrictions on Nvidia chip exports.5·8 months agoNo, it’s worse than that. Putin attended a wedding (in 2018, 5 months post Crimea annexation) of the then foreign minister [link].
They dissolved their government in 2019 after the then leader of the FPÖ told a journalist pretending to be a relative of an oligarch, that she could ensure positive coverage in exchange for government contracts. This might not be a direct link to a foreign enemy, but the corruption runs deep. [Link]
A senior quasi-secret service officer was discovered by the British to have been a spy for at least 7 years before he was apprehended. He was (cheaply) selling state secrets and providing information to the Russians… [link.]
You’ve got to love them 🇦🇹

The apostrophe is feet, right? That’s shallower than I thought.
Out of curiosity, do you know how deep your bore ended up being?
It’s a Swiss cheese model of risk management.
Alone, each layer (slice) of the security system has holes. But, when you put more layers on top (each with their own holes) some of the holes are now covered. Add more layers, and cover more holes.
In an airport, it is not just TSA but also cameras doing pattern recognition in the airport for suspicious activity, add into the mix complex national security measures and you would hope there is sufficient layers/coverage to stop most serious cases.
I’m lost in the air travel debate and it sucks. Ignoring the strike and pilots specific concerns, IMHO:
- Emissions of flights are horrendous and will be viewed as barbaric in 30+ years. It needs to stop.
- Denying those of a lower income the opportunity to partake in air travel is also horrendous, and should not be the main mechanism to disrupt the industry.
- There are, in many cases, no alternatives to air travel, so it cannot be abolished.
Smarter regulation is needed, but the finite details will likely never suit a majority of people.

Does it say that in the article? I don’t understand who this person is or why this discredits everything that Reuters as a news provider does.
Oneser@lemm.eeto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Is there such a thing as a bullshit-free news agency?22·1 year agoNo idea about this dude, but literally in the article you link, they reference Zenz as an independent researcher who says:
“Although it is speculative…”
Before providing his estimate and also provides other details which appear to support the story, but the article does not present as clear, hard “facts”. Also, the title isn’t some clickbait trash, and even directly says “could”.
Oneser@lemm.eeto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Is there such a thing as a bullshit-free news agency?432·1 year agoI can recommend Reuters, given it still has a little bit of sports and opinion, but I find it’s good at providing neutral facts and sources it’s knowledge from appropriate experts for its opinion pieces.
It only lacks in providing local level news, where I turn to my country’s national broadcaster.
