2·2 months agoI guess the idea is that the Jews didn’t deserve it? To be honnest it’s pretty erasing towards the other groups that were also victims of the Nazis anyway.
Honnestly, what some people are saying these last couple years has been kind of crazy to me.

2·3 months agoPalestine is recognised by over 80% of UN States including all permanent security members except the USA. The biggest two Western countries that don’t recognise are Germany and Italy along with of course Israel.
It’s not really such an important thing. The impact would be for the USA to stop their support and for the EU to end their trade deal with Israel.

1·3 months agoEvery party HS a different system. The conservatives have their MPs select two candidates in multiple rounds of voting to put in front of all their members.
Labour has a system where a candidate needs to have a minimum support from their MPs too but it’s still an election from labour members and supporters. They rank their candidates I believe

1·10 months agoOh last time I tried it didn’t synch listening history just subscriptions. I’ll have to give it another go one of these days, thanks
History podcast from the BBC : You’re dead to me
I enjoy 'This American life, depends on the topic but it can be very interesting.
If you’ve heard of QI from the BBC there is No such thing as a fish when they talk about a couple facts they’ve read. I find it pretty funny too.
Mike Duncan is doing a new seasons of Revolutions about the Mars revolution (fictional of course) but before he did a bunch of others including the Mexican and French revolutions which I particularly enjoyed.
Blowback does seasons about bad US foreign policy. For news about US foreign policy there is also American Prestige.
Also listen to 15 minutes history from the University of Austin Texas. They just did something about the King of Haïti for example. They do new topics each episode.
Also another history one if MartyrMade.
And Trillbilly Workers podcast because I like to have no clue what they’re talking about lol
