IIrc: it only does this for the Top Stories feed which is a handful of stories handpicked by Apple. It would be weird if your Top Stories was super short or completely blank because you happened to block all the right sources. Your regular feed should be filtered.

Why?… why now?… If your going to hold out this long, why endorse anyone?

Just a thought on random write: If you are using swap/page files, it may have more of an impact. Or if you are updating the system in place.
I have no clue whether updating by flashing a new system image would be treated as sequential or extracted randomly as individual files.

I mean… The oath is usually taken at medical school not during medical licensing.There is also more to the oath than just that line, and there are different versions of the oath because the original is pretty antiquated. Some schools use a different oath entirely. What do you do if a doctor went to school in a different jurisdiction? Do you hold them to an oath that they did not take? And what is ‘harm’ anyway? Is assisted suicide harm? Is abortion harm? Is denying a patient a life-saving abortion harm? Is recussitating someone to a state in which they wish they had instead died harm?

That might vary by jurisdiction though I guess.

That’s why have that paper barrier stuck to the handle of the ice cream cones. And kudos to you for finding a McD’s with a functioning ice cream machine.

Subway is a little different because it’s often the same person taking cash as making the food. Money is dirty and the register doesn’t get sanitized too often either. The option is wash your hands with soap and water after taking payment or slap on some fresh gloves. Those loose gloves are a faster changeover than properly washing your hands. And they don’t have to be sterile, just clean.

In a McDonalds you have separate folks doing the prepping & cooking vs the ordering and serving. If the person the person touching the food never touches the register, and the person handling the ordering/serving only touches the outside of the packaging, then neither of them have to wash their hands as often.

The problem with rubber gloves in food service is they provide a false sense of security. They make you think you are being sanitary, when the reality is you should wash or change your gloves anytime you touch something that would have necessitated you to wash bare hands.

I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure “teenager” is not a legal distinction for which liability is determined. You are either an adult or not, and judges have leeway to funnel non-adults through an alternative justice system not available to adults.

Yes, commercial and maybe some premium microwaves can achieve the effect of the turntable by more hidden means.

Though, I don’t know if they still make cheap microwaves without any hotspot mitigation whatsoever.
