Yeah this was my precise problem. I have seen so many pictures of “Trump doing the Hitler salute” and then you watch the video and he’s just waving at people and then they take a still when it looks questionable.
Nah this is the rare case where the still picture is actually an improvement over the video. What the fuck is Elon doing.
Usually I see posts like this and I think to myself “let me find the source video this still was taken from to see the context.”
The source video makes the picture even worse.

I didn’t get what I voted for. But I’m not delusional like the majority of the Democrats are apparently.
The first vote I could vote for was Obamas second term ( I was just a tad too young to vote for him the first time around) and I did so happily. Then is 2016 I voted for Hillary and was disappointed like many of you when Trump won.
For the 2020 election I went registered as an independent because I no longer identified as a Democrat. I still have left leaning bias on the majority of issues but I could not identify with the Democrats anymore. I still voted for them, but I wasn’t happy about it. Like many that cycle I viewed Biden as the lesser of two evils.
Now we get to 2024. I live in California. California was going blue no matter what. But I voted third party because I could not bring myself to vote for Kamala and the current Democratic party again. Just like I cannot bring myself to vote for the King Cheeto himself. My vote was simply a vote of protest for the current leaders of the Democratic party. They need to see that if they don’t change their approach going forward they are going to lose Democratic strong holds like California as well. This past election was one of the closest California has had in awhile. Clearly I am not the only person in my state disillusioned with how my old party has been doing things.
I really really want them to put forward someone genuinely good in 2028, but I fear they learned all the wrong lessons for the last 10 years. Only time will tell I guess.

Abuse of power is abuse of power. The Democrats can’t say they are the party of the just and fair when they are doing the exact same shit they condemn the right for doing.
The Democrats will continue to lose if they try and play dodgeball with the Teflon Don. Nothing has stuck or ever will stick to that man and it’s almost entirely thanks to the Democrats in the first place. They should have chosen to eat it on the nose and double down on them being the party that doesn’t try and break rules for personal gain. At least then they would have a legitimate leg to stand on. But they didn’t. They tried to play Trumps game. And they lost. And they will continue to lose.
I want to believe they will have learned anything from 2016-2024, but only time will tell. I suspect that when 2028 rolls around we will find out that the Democrats have still learned absolutely nothing. Based on my discussions with my left leaning friends and family its really not looking good for them in 2028.
I think you are seriously underestimating what can happen when you assassinate a controversial figure like Trump. It would 100% only make things worse.
To wish he would get killed is unbelievably short sighted thinking. I understand the thought process on a surface level but it would be a terrible fucking idea.
Talk to literally any historian ever and see what they have to say about assassinating highly controversial figures.

Your best bet is that he doesn’t fuck anything up too spectacularly in the next 4 years and then we can all forget he ever existed and hopefully never speak his name again.
I’m a free speed absolutionist, but this ain’t an infringement of our free speech. If TikTok had been government hosted and they closed it down because they didn’t like what the users were saying then you could absolutely make that argument.
TikTok was owned by a Chinese company and it’s not the only app of its kind.
I live in a deep blue state. Family is all very blue. They have learned absolutely nothing. They all think what the Democrats did was perfect. Kamala was flawless. She didn’t get elected because America is racist AND sexist.

When I said “handful” I more so meant in all of language yeah there are probably hundreds of words for the empty space between certain things, but in all of human language that’s probably a pretty small number.
I mean we have lots of words for varying degrees and styles of “nothing”.
A chasm is the empty space between two chunks of the earths crust.
A void is just an empty space well… Void of all things.
An interval is just the time between two events. Technically it’s nothing.
Still a good shower thought. There aren’t a ton of words dedicated to the same phenomenon, but we have a handful.

I know all about projects like the British Library. It’s seriously impressive and definitely an important historical archive. It can be burned to the ground and they already don’t allow most people to check out a lot of specific things.
But again I must point out that should there be a war or a sudden shift in political ideology of the government they might decide to destroy or remove certain things they don’t like.
And back to the “restricted access” topic. Who decides what is restricted? Here in a America we are super weird about nudity and sexuality. Other places wouldn’t want their general population to know the recipe for napalm.
I fundamentally disagree with the premise someone else telling me what information I am allowed to see or not. Any version of state or government ran media storage will have those issues.
Method? Idk my roommate for like 6 years was Chinese and he had a keyboard that he could switch between American English and Chinese. He showed me how it worked and the key caps all had a few Chinese symbols next to each English letter and he could cycle between them as needed. He wasn’t as fast typing in Chinese, but it was the only way for him to communicate with certain family as they couldn’t speak or read English at all.
When his mom visited her laptop also had a similar set up except on hers the English letters were smaller and the. Chinese symbols were bigger. I assume because she bought it in China or something.
Unfortunately this is the Democrats fault at this point. A real boy who cried wolf situation. Y’all hated this man so much that you tried anything and everything to shut him down.
All you did was make it so everyone stopped listening to what you had to say. People even tried to warn you about this approach after the 2016 election but you guys were the “is it me that’s out of touch? No it’s clearly them who is wrong” meme.
