Have you ever taken a picture of a screen before? It’s usually pretty washed out or has issues with focus, etc. Somehow these pictures are both perfectly sharp and have no brightness or contrast issues. In particular to get the screen brightness correct it almost always means getting exposure wrong for everything else but everything around the laptop looks fine still

So, to be clear, I am not doubting that he did this, but these pictures are very suspicious. The interface is too clean and perfectly contrasted across the entire screen which is extremely rare for cameras to be able to do, especially at a distance and an off angle. Some of the text has a weird perspective. This honestly looks like it might be fake.

Those exact type of issues have existed in the past it’s why the FBI uses ad blocking and recommends that it’s used for security. There have been several browser vulnerabilities over the years that required absolutely no interaction from the user whatsoever it simply had to load the data.

The whole reason that manifest V3 was such a big deal for unlock origin is that it prevents it from intercepting and stopping the initial connection to The domain in the first place it can only remove it after it’s been received and even that was limited. On Firefox everything is still normal it’s able to completely stop the browser from ever reaching out in the first place

I’ve been trying but it quickly breaks for me. I’ve got 64GB of system memory and a 6800xt but after a few responses it starts to fail to generate a response. Idk if the context window is becoming too large or what but it’s unfortunate. The responses are decent but not being able to maintain a thread sucks. This is using LM studio. It’s because people lack the ability to subjectively look at all possible aspects of life. They latch on to one thing that’s better and say that means the entire country is better. For example China objectively has better public transportation and infrastructure around things like internet and cellular despite also being an absolutely massive land mass. Pretty much anywhere has objectively better health care than the USA. So if those things have been causing them grief lately in their life they are going to latch on to that and declare that the country that has the better that is better in general even if there are other aspects not related to those subjects that would ultimately make life much worse

Anyone who genuinely thought that privacy was going to be perfect was an idiot. But they’re going to be better than Gmail and they are. The only way to achieve any type of true privacy would be to start up your own Data Center , run your own email , and then be the one that’s dealing with the government knocking on your door. Put frankly privacy on the internet does not exist and anyone that thinks it’s achievable on the modern internet is honestly an idiot. Also WA state, I saw the writing on the wall years ago and started investing to get as offgrid as i could. I’m entirely electric independent with solar and battery now, switched everything to as efficient as i could sources (heatpump on anything i can like hot water) working on rainwater collection and filtering atm. Have the filtering and just using it on the city water just need to setup the collection of rainwater
