It kinda depends but the answer in most cases is no: Err on the side of caution and say nothing unless she expresses interest and you feel the same way now. Then it might be OK to admit you had a crush on her back in the day.

Fortunately I don’t have this problem on any of my personal machines because I formatted all my Windows drives and migrated everything to Linux, which has been a far better experience. Running Bazzite on my gaming machine and Mint on my general use laptop. Also SteamOS on my handheld. Would recommend.

So, the Teams instance you’re connecting to and all of the data therein is owned by the company you work for: Their IT/security team or teams are still obligated to protect that data and allowing the use of any and every app could potentially cause problems or exfil proprietary company data.

Whether the phone is owned by you or them is irrelevant, the data is still compromised either way, so I doubt they enacted that policy by mistake, however, you may be able to talk them into adding more options to their allow list.

Oooh, ok, that looks like a policy setting your employer has. Looks like you might have to get them to make an exception. It works fine on my Pixel 8 and where I work but they may not have the inputs locked down.

There might be another way around it if they refuse to allow Heliboard, but if it’s a company issued device, it’s not worth getting in trouble over.

I’m not sure I follow you regarding Teams: Heliboard works fine in mine? I have Gboard completely disabled on my phone and it doesn’t even show up as an option in my Teams client on Android 16. What’s happening on your phone? It just doesn’t allow you to select it as an input when you’re using Teams?
