Yeah same. The way I think about federation is in a kind of per “product” approach. That’s a piece of software can be run by anyone and all communicate and work as a whole is the main benefit. Cross compatibility between “products”/software is just an added bonus, but not necessary

Yeah but “recommend” could mean anything? Is that 60fps at full ultra or 30 at high? It’s often quite a bit of trial and error to dial in a good compromise on lower spec pcs

The current AI stuff, Vision Pro and maybe the 16e (too early to tell) form stuff that has released. But also this Siri AI, Air Power wireless charging pad, Apple Car project.
The Apple Watch is probably the last hit they had (the M series chips are good but not really new products, but maybe that’s me being overly harsh)

Currently have the SE 2nd Gen that’s already had 1 battery replacement and was thinking of getting this. The pricing is a bit high/close to the base 16 but I think if the battery life is good, I probably will upgrade.

On mastodon and Pixelfed you mostly come across users that you already follow, and the content isn’t geared towards replying. Whereas on Lemmy, you can get content from many users and that content is geared towards commenting
