It’s not that easy to break an addiction, but I have faith that Musk can fuck this website up juuuuust enough to chase away a higher percentage.

They’ll just call every one of those inactive accounts ‘bots’ and be done with it
Yes. Technology is hard; doubly so for wearables.
Yeah, this ad campaign seems rather counter-intuitive if it’s aimed at swaying people.
he sold it in 2006
…damn, Steve Jobs bankrolled a large portion of my childhood and I never even realized.
Well they can’t make a ton of these iirc, and they’re limited to the US. Safe to say, they’ll sell as many as they’ll pump out.
Has nothing to do with the square corners. They started making leather cases with the 5s, and they were fantastic.
Apple leather cases just haven’t been the same since the 12 lineup, and if they weren’t gonna improve on the quality, they might as well quit.
Launch day device at 98%. I don’t baby this thing’s battery, but I am more careful than most.
Regular 15 will easily last 3 years. Heck, I’d expect 4 or 5 out of it. As for the Pro, that’ll probably be good for a year longer, maybe two.
Carmakers might be able to do what nobody else has managed to do so far: Kill the automobile. Everything the industry does seems to point in that direction, at least.
Not to mention, the place where it used to be was easy to reach with either hand. This one will probably be unpleasant with both.
I guess that remains to be seen. Even with Apollo, a far more feature-complete app for a far more robust platform with a more certain future (at the time), Ultra had been a hard sell for many.
afaik Apple has regional pricing for the lowest tier, ie $1. There’s no regional pricing for other tiers, which is rather unfortunate.
Latest build, yeah
I mean, that’s fine and all but a lot of people can’t justify dropping $50 (or $30 for now) on a platform that, I’m sorry to say, just isn’t quite there yet; especially on an app that isn’t quite as proven as Apollo was (which, again, started out substantially cheaper).
If I’m being honest, the pricing might be a bit too high for an unproven platform like Lemmy. Obviously, I’m not against monetization and you should be rewarded for your work, but I do wonder how many people are gonna be willing to pay for Pro if (for example) Lifetime costs more than the first release of Apollo Ultra.
Monetizing your work is more than fair, and depending on the price, I def wouldn’t mind dropping a couple doubloons on that Lifetime option.
Good luck on the release!
Holy shit you actually believe that nonsense. Wow.
Musk has moved on from trying to create an ‘internet bank’. Dude now wants to make something like LINE or WeChat, which is absolutely hilarious.
