My only problem is how Libre Office handles their style system. It’s forced use for things like Footers, and very hard to manipulate and turn off unlike Word.

My own way to bypass it was to replace a new document text into an old converted word text that had the correct footer pages from Word.

I really hate page and Style guides because they always want to propagate everything through entire documents, instead of only changing things on a page by page basis. Adding things to previous pages when you change something isn’t helpful.

The labor movement was a very bloody fight. Blair mountain, and Triangle Shirtwaist was a lot of death.

I have plenty of guns and ammo to use for the defense of myself and family. As a disabled vet I can barely feed my family, let alone March alone from Colorado to overthrow the President.

I can’t afford to join a secessionist movement because we still have a group of people that still are supposed to fight using the law and wors before the guns come out. The 1st Ammendment is 1st for a reason. The 2nd is the last resort which most sane gun owners don’t want to have to use.

There’s supposed to be an opposition party to fight the executive encroachment.

They didn’t vote for Trump, they didn’t vote for Harris. Trump didn’t gain the voters, Harris lost millions of voters.

Democrats weren’t going to vote for the Candidate who had no primary, was decided upon race/sexist promotion, and was unable to show definitive reasons why she would be ifferent than Biden.

Biden didn’t win the last primary because of his personal votes, he won because all of the other candidates gave him their Primary votes after Super Tuesday to stop Bernie from being the nominee again.

The DNC was not supported this time because the Democrat voters were against the coronation of Kamala, but did vote down-ballot the Democrats. Voting wasn’t a zero-sum choice, many people like me, didn’t vote for a president because the DNC was being fascist about the candidate.

The DNC is no longer the party of the worker, it’s the party of the bosses and bankers, with the Hollywood shills paid to support their Candidate. The people aren’t owed their votes, the same way companies aren’t owed a purchase when they make a product that customers don’t want. We can’t have a marketplace of ideas if the DNC blocks all other ideas.

Bedbugs in executive offices is best. Make them feel the pain.

I moved to Linux Mint after a brief stint with Manjaro. I don’t prefer the Cinnamon interface, but gaming has been perfect. Bottles, allows me to install GOG Galaxy and the games run. I even modded Skyrim using a manual process and a ton of animation mods, that worked alright a lot of times with Vortex ( for the most part).

Linux can handle NTFS partitions, and just take a small line to fix if they are open during a crash. Flatpak software is really stable to install and keep installed.

I haven’t yet had a problem with steam games.

The only problem I have is with streaming services forcing Windows usage, so I got a VPN and raised the Jolly Roger to watch streaming services.

My 3080 plays games fine, and the few times it got a little slow I rebooted and it all worked fine. Discord calls and Twitch work fine. I even take my VA Online appointments with no issues.

It’s closer to going back to Windows 7 or XP, with a decent free office software.

Guess you all are fine with having everything decided by a few states. I for one am not willing to end up with rle by the Mob.

Without the E.C., no presidential candidate will go to any Midwest state, southeast or the southwest. Politics will not matter in DC for any state past the coasts.

The system we have was designed so that instead of one group taking over we have to find common ground. Checks and Balances are important for keeping it in the middle ground. Just because it may help in one way, doesn’t mean it can be used against the Democrats in the future.

I’m as far left as they come, but I don’t think gutting the system for short term gains will help. We should increase the House due to thensize, but I think we should go back to a senate chosen by the state and not having senate elections. It has so far turned the senate into another popularity body instead of people being able to pass laws without regard of electioneering.

Saying it’s God’s judgment is bad when it destroys the places attacking abortions, trans rights, and gays.

They don’t want to admit that God may be against them.

The classification problem will lead to the DEA gaining control of all the dispensaries in every state.

Maybe I’m being alarmist, but rescheduling Marijuana is worse than leaving things alone. Oversight by the DEA is the wrong way to go.

One of the best ways to get through withdrawal symptoms is Marijuana. When I was getting off some pretty rough mental meds, Marijuana allowed me to keep going.

Especially a big problem for people who play on Steam Deck. Which most game companies don’t consider it a Console, which is stupid.

Exactly, people with serious problems need to be off of the streets.

Why do all the law-abiding sane people have to give away their rights when we already have ways to remove dangerous people from society.

Sorry to break it to you, but bypassing sections is a crime. You just proved his point. Sanctions are supposed to make life difficult for the people in sanctioned countries so that those people maybe start doing something to the person causing the problems.

It may be useful, but it was designed to facilitate criminal payments.

I’m glad I just setup Linux two weekends ago. It was simple to install all of my hardware worked well. I only miss a couple of minor features like the LED software and my overclocking software.

And those really aren’t that big of a deal since I haven’t had a failure to play a game so far.

It was at least 20 years since I tried Linux, and the changes are wild. I didn’t even choose a simple distro and haven’t even had too difficult of a time.

I just installed Manjaro over my windows 10 drive and the effort so far has been way easier than I thought.

KDE Plasma reminds me a lot of WIn 10, and nearly everything I did on my windows system works under Linux without hassle. The only issue I had were certain technical things like overlooking my GPU and setting up my LED lights.

He could ruin the VA by forcing deregulation and making the VA into another for-profit system. He could force the sale of VA Hospitals to investment bankers.

Just because a person is a veteran doesn’t mean they want to keep the VA system whole. Does he even use the same healthcare that poor enlisted soldiers and sailors use?

No, the parents were arrested for children being truant. One had too many unexcused absences because the child had sickle-cell anemia and the single mom had to spend a lot of time dealing with the court process.

It wasn’t fines it was threatening jail and arrest. She kept people in overcrowded jails against the orders of the Supreme Court, because the county needed slaves for fire-fighting because prison firefighters cannot become wildfire firefighters when they are out of prison. She also has never pushed back against abusive police.

Her past as a tough on crime Attorney General has been recently glossed over and she won’t speak on it or admit she made mistakes.

Doesn’t matter if they walked it back. I’m now playing my games on Linux.

And wow it is just working.

I just installed Manjaro and it just worked with minimal issues. The issues that did come up, were easily fixed with building apps. If you aren’t an IT professional or up for tweaking things around there are easier distros, but I was surprised how much it was plug and play with gaming
