Sometimes I just know about the eminence of the launch of something because of the crap memes about it that start to flood Reddit. Then I see my non-reddit friends sharing it from other sources.
Obvious gorilla marketing is obvious, but people fall in droves.
Just wait for Microsoft to start astroturfing the initiative.
Ad hominem. Yes, that’s it.
Politicians you don’t like can make good policies and politicians you do like can make bad policies. Parties are not football teams for you to take blind sides and politicians are not celebrities to be veneered blindly. They are public servants, nothing more.
It’s a global phenomenon, but Americans are particularly affect by the false dichotomy fallacy of having the two sides of political spectrum represented when, in reality, they just have two flavors of right to choose from. Both are shit in their own way.

Sorry for the random rambling.
Someone started talking about my hair in the profile picture on a discussion on another site because they didn’t agree with what I said.
When people do shit like this I just disengage. Life is too short to waste with bad faith arguments.
The Apple way…
This will not fly here. It’ will be considered “bad faith” and will incur in penalties.
They’ll probably try tho, CADE will protest and the judge will make an adjustment to the rulling.
On which metric?
“Resume” would have been a better choice!
Holy Mother of Displaced Blame…

Here in Brazil elections are always on Sunday, vote is mandatory and everybody vote the same day. By 8pm all votes are counted and the result is known.
I always vote after lunch and it’s always empty. Because the vote is electronic, it’s very fast. I get there (we usually vote at schools too), show my photo ID (I use the ID app on my phone), use my fingerprint to unlock the voting machine, type the numbers and confirm, they return my phone and give a coupon to prove I voted and then I go eat a meat pastel and ice cream.
People are the same everywhere…
For me it’s just black. Using Boost
Windows at home because use computer only for gaming.
Windows at work because required.
Like Linux and used it for years but don’t have a usecase currently that justify it.
Because if they embed an image to the article, it would distract you from all the ads that are between paragraphs.
“The malice is in the eye of the beholder.”
Nuance and context is in short supply these days.
