Just yesterday my parents were complaining about “cheating” on Election Day by Democrats. I’m half tempted to send them this.
The irony and disconnect would be horribly, horribly amazing.
Are people really still on the “Pizzagate” thing? I thought that died out a while back.
https://kbin.social/m/gaming and https://lemmy.world/c/games are here. They’re both relatively active. And don’t have a lot of Linux talk lol.
I watch Netflix on occasion and share it will my sibling, who watches it a ton. If it does go up any higher, I’m going to have to have them start paying for half. Otherwise, I’ll just have to cancel. They don’t have enough content to justify me paying anymore than I currently am. I’m mostly on Hulu anyway.
Ah, I gotcha. Thanks for the answer!
Do you mean new housing as in individual stand alone houses, or does that also include multi unit apartment buildings?
I only ask because in the old area I used to live in it seemed like they were building new apartments left and right. Meanwhile as far as houses go I would be inclined to agree, as I haven’t really noticed any new construction going on. But that’s just in the area I live now. It’d be interesting to see nationwide numbers.
My question is, what exactly do they consider ‘breaking news’? These days every news story starts off with ‘breaking news’. If they want to interrupt me so bad, I’ll find whatever I want to watch elsewhere.
Samsung has something similar but using QR codes. You just pull up the code associated with your profile, the other person scans it, and boom, contact added. I’m not sure if it works phone types though. I assume it would.
I’ve been there a couple times while on vacation with family. It’s a very cool place from what I remember (I was young when we went). I don’t know if they still do, but they would put on performances with traditional dance and outfits.
I didn’t even know this was a thing, and they’ve already cancelled it.
I’ve mentioned it to a couple friends, especially when they complained about losing their favorite subreddits and comments being deleted, but as far as I know they haven’t moved over. I’m not pushy or anything about it though, I just casually drop it in conversation, like “oh I was on kbin today and saw this thing, blah blah blah…”
That being said, we don’t follow each other on other types of social media/forums, so why would we here? They’ll keep doing whatever they’re doing, and I’ll be happy here.
Oregon Trail on Apple IIGS. I was in elementary school, and those particular Apple computers were already outdated by the time we got a hold of them, but we were from a poor county, and by god it was some great fun. We would have little competitions to see who could get the furthest without having their whole party die.
The Grandfather Paradox, I’m partial to that one as well.
