There are already many, many comedians on the left providing left or left leaning takes and not shoveling conspiracy garbage onto their shows… Jon Stewart, John Oliver for example. They’re popular, but they aren’t going to seize the same crowd as Rogan.

I want to believe this is true. I hope that things go that way - if America leads a shift in the way the world gets it’s goods that could be a good thing. But I’m not sure that’s what will happen, honestly.

Automation should be a good thing. If we can have things that need to happen be done more efficiently with less work we absolutely should. But we should distribute the results of those efficiency gains fairly, which is where the current system fails.

I would say everyone does it. Confirmation bias isn’t something you can completely avoid. You can try to recognise it in yourself, but most of the time it’s a lot more subtle. As simple as reading something you agree with and not going to check the source. We ALL do that.
