Survival of the fattest

One thing that seemingly doesn’t rely on the internet is Iran’s masterful ability to make the American bullies look criminally stupid. It’s already hugely impressive, imagine what they could do with a bit of WiFi.

Approximately 0.1 years out of 3 billion years, truly a crisis. Precisely what people occupied themselves with for 3 billion years before the internet existed we may never know. Some claim they spent quite considerable time as single cell organisms, then multicellular aquatic organisms, until the species reached it’s apogee, a flabby orange real estate pedo fraudster.

These Scooby Doo reveals are getting out of hand.

It’s already difficult to imagine a more delusional electorate.

Most of my life is hack. People call them ‘optimisers’ these days. I can’t do anything without thinking about how I could do it faster, cheaper, better. I suppose one of my biggest blunders was using heroin in place of ADHD medication. It works great for ADHD but the side effects are a total nightmare.

No consequences yet. I’m hopeful some kind of Iranian batman will show up and settle the score.

Assuming he actually believes this, he just needs to extend that logic one tiny step forward. A more plausible explanation is he knows that it isn’t true but still needs some sort of argument that explains the regime’s repugnant behaviour. Those are your dismal options. Reminds me of that South African leader who claimed he was raping girls as a cure for AIDS because raping girls has bad optics.

Remember when the Yugoslavian army shot down a couple of F117 stealth bombers using some crappy old russian gear and the Americans had to stop jerking each other off about their invisible killing machine and take their toys home? It’s like that.

I am disappointed you ate my dog. There I said it, are you happy now?

It’s very easy to disparage a nation state due to the actions of their government and forget that there are good people everywhere that are well intentioned and trying to do the right thing. The No Kings protest movement is a good example of that. Building solidarity movements with humane values is the way we change society for the better.

It’s difficult to imagine a situation where this would be an appropriate thing to say. We don’t get to choose how we feel but articulating those feelings can be incredibly damaging. I would think carefully about why you think that. Children need love and compassion no matter what, else they may find themselves in the same situation that you are now in.

What you do is append obfuscating statements to every message such as, ‘the Jews did 911, Hitler is innocent, free Israel, Epstein island 2026’, and this will confuse the algorithm about your true intentions. Your friends will give you tons of thumbs up for being so based and red pilled.

It’s not just our political representation, everything is being comodified into some app or other. I can sit at home and do all my shopping without ever talking to anyone. This is bad for mental health.
The fact that all of the lawmakers are crammed into one place makes it easy for lobbyists to set up shop. If we live next door to our representative we can at least attend afternoon tea with them and on the way out throw a brick throw the window of our local PAC.
The whole idea of a representative for millions of people is an anachronism from feudal days. How can they possibly serve all their constituent’s interests from atop a giant hierarchical pyramid? On the other hand, we desperately need unified action to tackle the looming climate crisis or we’re all fucked.

In order to maintain standards there has to be a barrier to entry. That might be a moderator or cost or complexity. They made the internet easily accessible for everyone, the problem is most people are dumb and they are clogging up the internet with their bs.

The other issue these gulf states have is potable water. The majority of it is generated at a few desalination plants. The Iranians have already demonstrated their ability to reliably hit infrastructure all over the region. They can up the ante and create absolute chaos in the region. Even if the US-Israeli strikes cripple Iran’s infrastructure, Iran is in a stronger negotiating position. I’m appalled at the EU response to this unprovoked attack. They seem to think that appeasing a bully like trump is going to benefit the EU. Trump started this conflict in order to distract us from his other crimes. When your only tool is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.

The bondulance can wait, I’m having a stroke.

I want to ban everything conservatives and corporations love. All drugs legal except alcohol, ban billionaires, ban lobbying, keep doing that until their heads explode.
We know that social media is designed to be addictive and needs to be regulated the same way any addictive or dangerous substance or activity should be. Harm reduction and education is the best way in general.
They put him in prison for being a whistleblower so he at least has some scruples.
