Yes I can see some really altruistic uses for these but they’re outweighed by the malicious ones.
Like RING cameras and the other brands, would be super cool to help locate lost children and elderly but bad people are going to use them for fascism.

My out of my butt possible explanation to the chain is to preserve the strength of grip because if you’ve ever hit something really hard with a solid object like a bat against another like a pole or rock, or even a bad contact with a baseball the vibrations from the impact can be painful and reduce your strength, sometimes causing you to drop the bat. Dudes might’ve had some thick gloves though to probably stop that though.
Also another butt idea, it may also preserve the condition of shaft overall because it wouldn’t be experiencing a lot of impact pressure either, only from blocking I guess and the general wear and tear of the attachment of the chain to shaft thing and the tug of swinging that bitch around.
I could also see it as an over the shield lever point where the shaft strikes the top of your opponent’s guard and the ball and chain fall down upon them.
Thanks for coming to my butt talk.
(I edited a spelling mistake. If anyone cares about edit stuff.)

lol I was thinking something similar, but hoping for let these be a reverse John Fetterman stroke.
Sort of. Be a decent person and treat others with decency. If something indecent is about to happen or happening to you or others, do your best to stop it or seek justice, by appropriate means for the situation. Don’t kill someone who threw water at you or kicked your truck.

That’s absolutely amazing. I’m happy to hear that kind of thing exists for people.

lol I did not think about pink eye or consequences from sharing of the device. I’m happy to hear the technology exists though.

Thank you for sharing that. It was a lot of fun to read through. At the end I was like, wait how did I end up on this wiki?

I despise a lot about religion but I have enjoyed seeing the Catholic Church slowly become a bit more accepting of humanity’s nature by being more inclusive with the LGBT population and now seeing this. It gives me hope that religion is capable of growing alongside people and adapting to something better than it is has been and is.
I support religion as long as it gives people a sense of community, hope, and strength. When it starts taking things away, being oppressive, and not holding its officiants accountable for wrong doing, it’s wrong.
I don’t see how anyone who already isn’t appalled by the genocide, is going to start to care because an American with a “brown” sounding name is also killed.
I don’t care any more than I already do which is I think all of it, whatever care is I have all of it for Palestine or any other oppressed peoples.
I’m editing to add: I really hate that I used the term brown sounding name because it feels icky and racist but it’s what I’ve come to expect from my less kind countrymen.
