i like it, tbh I barely use the phone. I need more RAM on it for it to be more useful. It’s crazy that even 8GB is not good enough. Dam Samsung bloat. I wish I had a stylus option for Google pixel or something that can take a privacy respecting OS.

I hear sucking on a lollipop can help.
For durability and smallest features, a metal unibody types that don’t have seams are great.
For performance, I opt to have an nvme SATA enclosure that is USB 3.1 capable. Copying 15 GB in a minute or 2 is so satisfying. Plus my god being able to easily change the nvme SATA drive on the fly if needed and it being able to go up to a few TB without loss of performance is just to good
For price, nothing beats free. Just don’t expect much more than what you get.
Yeah Linux still has plenty to work on. It’s unfortunate how limited the support is. If game and app developers could target Linux, then the cost to support and maintain would be lower than they have to do with Windows. Unfortunately, market share and power of defaults work against us.
If you can, look towards getting a steam deck. At least that is a Linux thing that is pretty decent and portable.
Does it matter if the products last longer than an apple product and can likely be repaired?
Linux needs linux developers
Likely prohibitively expensive, will take a long af time to reach wider markets and most likely never pass trials
All my predictions
I was genuinely surprised when I saw Americans online arguing over the topic of free food in schools, i always hear the mantra “love thy neighbour” in media and such, but some are genuinely upset that someone less fortunate may get to eat at school.
Is called hypocrisy, and it’s prevalent the more sociopathic a person is. Which is quite more common to see in the internet from the detachment/ lack of personal connection.
As the other guy said, the only hard parts for you will be to negotiate staying on the grid or cutting off completely.
I ran all the numbers and you are paying a ridiculous price for solar. You will see it pay it self off in 50 years, which I doubt you will care about at all once you are 50 years older or giving the house to your next of kin.
Me too, but discord also
Mine does not say that? It says “Disagree and close”
Funnily enough, this is what a chromebook was made to do. A computer that was only a browser. Unfortunately, the hardware was severely underpowered, and the custom software wasn’t as flexible as a simple Linux desktop is capable of. (Almost no software support outside of Google)
I didn’t have to work on it for just to not click through ui menus, I just had my autoclicker enabled from some reason(likely game) and just randomly thought, “I’ll use the autoclick, lol” and had some interesting stuff happen. It was entertaining and nothing about being practical.
I would turn off the auto clicker, I just had it on randomly
“Gently slides back” 😂
I promise you I have done exactly that, i had an auto clicker bound to my space bar and was to lazy to click and would just hold the space bar down when I knew that I was going to click a bunch of gui buttons.(which I though wouldnt be problem) Quickly learned some programs don’t like it at all. Lol
Yeah, imagine using rim brakes at 40 mph. Good luck with the inevitable crash with absolutely nothing to cushion or take the hit for you(no crumple zones).
Not sure either, and kali did the same. https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/361870/what-are-the-practical-differences-between-bash-and-zsh
Of course, someone posted on stackexchange a nicely detailed post.
Windows 11 “out of box experience” has been made specifically to further control and limit options in favor of value added options. Such as making online services more integrated into an ever bloated OS. The only option I know about setting up the first account as local was to disable the internet connectivity check they are enforcing now using a command prompt that required going well out of my way to get and even I saw how much they pressure you into going along with their demands/instructions instead of allowing freedom/open use of anything you wish to use.
It’s so odd because even though it is possible to do more advanced or finer tuned control, Microsoft is intentionally ignoring talking about it and therefore not even offering those options.
