A community about boomer shooters, a type of old-school FPS games before Half-Life revolutionized the genre. Boomer shooters have emphasis on shooting and sometimes traversing mechanics, are light or devoid of cutscenes, and the fun of making things go boom takes precedence over story.

Don’t complain about the term boomer shooter. It’s a fixed term. I did not make it up. It originates from the game 2018 Dusk and since stuck as a shorthand for the type of FPS.
Half-Life is not a boomer shooter.
